CrossFit Hertford Workout of the Day 15/04/12

CrossFit Central Manchester Open WOD 3

10 minute AMRAP:

150 Double unders

100 Wall balls 8kg

Or recovery

Skills (Double unders, Kipping, Muscle ups)

100 Turkish get ups for time 12kg
(slow and controlled)

    Total reps 235

    10 ft target made it harder then I imagined, gutted to only be 15 reps away from 1 compete round which was the goal - if I hadnt of missed 10+ I might I have made it!

    So total reps 417...won't be worrying the top 60 or probably even top 200 but good fun and certainly learned some stuff - like get stronger and stop talking myself out of WODs before I have even started!

    Onwards and Upwards!

  2. Firstly, thanks to Chris, Rosh and Mike for judging.

    I screwed up on the final WOD unfortunately. I thought I would need 420 reps minimum to qualify. I got my first set of DU's complete in 1:30 and finished the Wall Balls in 5 minutes so had 3:30 to finish. Then it all went wrong, i couldn't string a DU together!! ended up only getting 121....should have had enough time to get well into the 2nd set of wall balls. I have just looked and I think I have missed out by 13 Double Unders :(

    I should have left myself enough time to give this WOD another go but you live and learn.

    Anyway, its just made me want to get Fitter, Stronger, Faster :)
