CrossFit Hertford Workout of the Day 06/07/12

Complete for time:

2000m Row

Target = sub 7.00min

Two completely different methods, one (Jo) demonstrating good efficiency and technique, the other (Marcus) showing strong drive, determination and work capacity.

Both getting the job done and Marcus demonstrating that the mind is primary!

  1. Deadlift 5 x 1 @ 90% 1RM - ended going heavier at 115kg, felt ok.

    First time ever, some lessons learned!

    Then Berry convinced me to do 1 round of 'Hope'

    48 reps. Not great but i went for chest to bar and got just 2! Thought with the new trainers I would get 100+. Might send them back ;o)

    OHS Squat practice working weight up to 50kg

    2000m Row = 7:11
    First time doing this, think i paced too much in the middle as I had a bit in the tank for the last 500m.

    1 Round of Hope = 92
    Just wanted to feel it out, was stopping on 50 secs each station so we expect 100+.....need to practice C2B Pull
